Anyways, I just wanted to talk about something that's been on my mind lately. Something rather tedious and of no big importance but it's about my current hairstyle. lol
I'm always, always, always going through this cycle where I want to grow out my fringe or bangs, however you call them, but then I see pictures of Miss A's Suzy...and she's soooooo beautiful. She just has that natural beauty look to her, with her flawless skin, and she's just...exuding gorgeousness haha sounds weird and maybe a bit over exaggerated but...yeah. Suzy is just beautifully flawless (hahaha) and can pull off just about any style she's given. That's what I probably envy about her; from her flawless skin to her beautiful figure, to her fashion styles, Suzy is just...so perfect. Good Lord, I sound like such a creeper right now. But in all honestly, she's one of the Kpop idols I look up to the most.
Longer fringe slightly clipped or hair sprayed to the side to give it that "curved" or "wind swept" look
Curved blunt bangs coupled with long beautiful tresses
Sporting a longer fringe style and parted to the mid-side
Parted mostly to the middle with a natural wave to it.
With her bangs hair sprayed back and her dewy looking makeup, Suzy looks exceptionally flawless
And finally, here's Suzy sporting her usual look
In a lot of her pictures, Suzy is sporting more than the average "blunt" fringe look. Meaning in a majority of her pictures, she's doing a lot of different styles with her fringe.
AND I ENVY THAT. SO MUCH. You guys have no idea. I wish I could style my hair in various ways and still look good. Whenever I trim my fringe and style it to the side, it's staying like that for a good while. I can't even pull off a slightly parted to the middle-side style with my fringe because it's so stiff and ends up looking really lopsided.
Now I know Suzy's an idol and she's got her hairstylists to make her hair look like that. But there are also normal, "non-idol" people with beautiful hair as well. A good example is my cousin's girlfriend. Ugh. That's probably one of my long term resolutions to somehow accomplish beautiful locks of hair. lol vain, I know. But I've always wanted long silky hair that's easy to maintain. Sadly, I'm still trying to grow my hair to the desired length.
However, because maintaining a fringe is too much work and time (for me at least) I've been really hesitating. Not only that but I also get bad breakouts around my forehead area whenever it's covered by my fringe. And personally, I like it when my forehead is able to "breathe" haha if that makes any sense. And did I ever mention that I simply adore Suzy's makeup style? So. Freakin. Beautiful.
So those are the top two reasons why I'm debating so much about whether or not I should trim my bangs (once again). But there are other reasons as well.
Haha ok, enough with the fangirling lol
Anyways, after seeing pictures on my newsfeed or tumblr of Suzy or whatever Kpop idol sporting the fringe look, I'm always so tempted to cut my own hair! But then I see pictures of Na Eun and I'm like, "Ugh, I can't wait for my bangs to grow out."
For those of you who don't know Na Eun she's from a Cube Ent. (if I'm not mistaken) girl band called A Pink.
She's so pretty! And she has that cute, ulzzang-like charm to her image.
She manages to look very innocent and cute and at the same time, if needed, she'll be able to pull of a nice elegant style. Also, with long, grown out bangs, it can actually give the appearance of a slimmer face and sometimes even a "v-line" shaped face as well. It all depends on how you style it. However, if these kind of bangs are styles wrong, you might end up looking like the Grudge haha;;
Here are some other examples of Korean stars with long bangs.
Kim Yeong Ju, actress (most well known for her role in Moon Embracing the Sun)
2NE1's Sandara Park; she's so beautiful and doesn't even look her age! So envious haha
Other well known Korean stars with bare foreheads+long bangs hairstyle are KARA's Goo Hara, TWO X's Eun Young, After School's UEE, f(x)'s Sulli (before she had her short hairstyle for the drama, "To the Beautiful You"), Wonder Girl's So Hee and etc. There's so many to list.
Also, I see on youtube people like clothesencounters Jenn Im, bubzbeauty, meejmuse, beautifymeeh, etc. etc. and I honestly cannot make up my mind whether or not I want to trim my bangs! And it's a bit distressing I'll admit. I always end up trimming my fringe sometime during the year and regret it a few days later. Sure, it looks nice and frames your face nicely, depending on your face shape/structure. But having bangs are such a hassle and I'd like to keep my morning routines as simple and quick as possible. I already take too much time doing my skincare lol.
I think, as for the final verdict, I'll be trying to be patient and grow out my bangs. It's too time consuming and maybe when I have more time on my hands. But you'll never know me haha
Well that's it for now :) See you everyone till next time!~
Sorry for the long post...;;
I would say do some research regarding your own faceshape. Bangs give a younger vibe than no bangs. I think as women get older they would prefer no bangs :D

Haha thanks! and yeah, I did do some research but it seems like my face doesn't seem to suit bangs well as they make my face shape look more round and generally younger than I actually am. So since I'm going for a more mature but youthful look I'll be opting for the no bangs look. Not only that, it's pretty much hassle free most of the time once it reaches a certain length lol and I just checked out your blog and I LOVE it. It's so beautiful, I can't believe I didn't check it out sooner. You just gained a follower :)
